The Week in Review
There were just three new admissions this past week, two Red-tailed Hawks and a House Finch. One hawk had a badly fractured left coracoid (in the shoulder). The other hawk was emaciated due to a leg fracture just above the left knee. Their injuries were not repairable and the hawks were euthanized. House Finch 22-057 is being treated for an eye infection and a broken toe. He seems to be responding to treatment.
Visitors from Ukiah

Norma Barber brought a group of Ukiah Middle Schoolers to the Wildlife Center. After learning about BMW’s resident Education Birds, the students collected tumble weeds and we had a big bonfire! What an awesome group!
