BMW received a $12,000 grant from The Kinsman Foundation this past week. The Foundation has been a long-time supporter of BMW and wildlife rehabilitation. Grant funds will help pay for operating expenses at the center.

Admissions this past week included a Sharp-shinned Hawk, a Great Horned Owl and two Red-tailed Hawks. I can’t remember the last time we admitted just four birds in a week, probably not since last winter!
