Week in Review
There were four new admissions this past week: one Red-tailed Hawk, one Western Screech Owl and two Great Horned Owls. The hawk had a compound humerus fracture that was not repairable and was euthanized.
Great Horned Owl 20-020 was found hanging by his left wing in a barbed-wire fence, with lacerations on both sides of the wing. …

Three Red-tailed Hawks were released at the Pendleton Center.
Red-tailed Hawk 19-556 was admitted on Thanksgiving with gunshot injuries: a fractured left ulna and a hairline fracture in the right humerus.
Red-tailed Hawk 19-533 was struck by a vehicle on I-84 just west of Pendleton on November 2. …
