An adult Crow was seen roaming a south hill residential area in Pendleton. After nearly a week, good Samaritans were able to capture it. A radiograph left no doubt as to why the Crow could not fly. It had been shot twice. One pellet fractured the left radius, ulna and humerus. …

These small woodpeckers were admitted on June 17, 2020. Two weighed 14 grams, the third weighed just 7 grams. Their world was turned upside down when the tree containing their nest cavity was cut down. One month later two weighed 25 grams and the third weighed 24 grams. …
