December 20 - December 26

The Week in Review

The week started with snow…

Dec 21

And ended with sunshine…

Dec 26

That could describe the entire year. We’ve had some rough spots, but a new year is about to begin, the days are getting longer and we know spring will come.

I’m a little worried about my daffodils though. They may be a little optimistic given the forecast over the next few days…

The Year in Review

2021 has been record-breaking in multiple ways. For BMW, one of the greatest achievements was admitting 1,588 birds and releasing 830. While a 52% release rate may not seem that significant, it is good to remember that half of our admissions are badly injured and cannot be saved. Of the remaining birds, almost all are able to be released because of your generous support. We couldn’t do it without you!

2022 Is Off To A Great Start!!!

Heart-felt thanks to everyone who has donated to Blue Mountain Wildlife by participating in the Valley Giving Guide sponsored by Blue Mountain Community Foundation. You have helped raise more than $17,500 to fund Blue Mountain Wildlife in the coming year. We receive 100% of each online donation! In addition, all donations will count towards the Matching Funds that the foundation is raising for this event. Again, thank you so much.

Wishing you happiness throughout the holidays and a new year filled with peace and joy.
